Executive Chef Enrico Botto
My name is Enrico Botto, Sr. and I am the youngest of four Botto sons. My wife, Lisa, and I have three children, Sophia, Natalie and Enrico Jr.
Robert and Catherine Botto, my father and mother, started their journey in 1964 with a small meat shop in Swedesboro. Their hard work and dedication brought us to where we are today.
In 1997, they opened what is now Botto’s Market. On February 7, 1998, their 39th wedding anniversary, they opened Botto’s Italian Line Restaurant and Banquet Room. This is where my journey began.
I had then graduated from the University of Delaware with a Hotel and Restaurant Management Degree and had started working with the family business. I stepped into the kitchen and started to learn to cook by using my mother’s expertise as my foundation.
Since the day the restaurant opened, I have been working hard to please the many who have come through these doors. My father always said “serve the best, the customers will love it and they will tell their friends”. This has become my goal, to serve only the very best and to exceed customers’ expectations.
Everyday I try to create something special for my guests so their dining experience can truly be savored. Not only do I strive on creating special dishes, but I want people to feel at home and treated like family.
So please enjoy your meal and do not be afraid to ask for something special because I am here to make sure Botto’s becomes your favorite dining spot.
